Letter To Santa

This was a fun drawing I made during the month of Dec 2021 for a Christmas themed prompt list. The prompt for the day was “Letter to Santa” and this was what I came up with.

It’s been a little joke between myself and my husband that I desperately want a black cat. But having three cats in the small space we currently live in is hard enough. Still, a girl can dream, so I drew this and decided to channel my inner child. I remembered being a little girl with all my crayons, writing my letters to Santa and drawing out the toys I wanted the most, because I felt that it showed how much I wanted them. It made sense to me as a kid!

Reconnecting with my inner child for this project was also extremely fun and something I’ve started to do more since.

P.S. Santa did NOT come through. That’s okay. Maybe this year!
