Fast Food Skitty

While I was doing a Nov art prompt that was completely focused on cats, I had the idea that at least three of the drawings I made would be based on my own three cats.

For this illustration I used my baby Skitty as my subject and inspiration. Skitty is a very sensitive and sweet little cat. He is very shy and skittish and unsure of new things and change. I used that as inspiration for this piece. I think we’ve all been there before—first day on a new job. It can be really hard and scary, but imagine doing it in roller-skates! I really loved how sweet and cute this came out and I also really liked how the retro, roller skating, soda pop diner vibe I chose for this came through.
