Prizewinning Haru

While I was doing a Nov art prompt that was completely focused on cats, I had the idea that at least three of the drawings I made would be based on my own three cats.

This one was so fun to draw, I love our big boy Hoodie (another nickname for him) and love how excited he gets over certain things. He’s a big cat, but he’s not this big. I just like to draw him as a big boy sometimes because of his larger than life attitude. He’s a lazy cat who knows a thing or two about stretching and comfort, so imagine how funny it is when he actually gets playful and rowdy. I imagined Haru finding and destroying a roll of TP. He’s a proud cat and I wanted to bring out his prideful nature in this victorious TP battle scene.
