Breakfast Time with Haru

Breakfast time with Haru came to be during October 2021. I was doing a month long art challenge and was using the prompts #Peachtober2 & #Cheektober21. The prompts were “Breakfast Friends” and “Rise.”

I really enjoyed putting the two prompts together and coming up with this. During this month I also experimented with textures and using more vibrant colors.

Lastly I knew I wanted to draw my cat Haru because breakfast is both mine and Haru’s favorite meal of the day. I really loved drawing him in such a stylized way and can’t wait to make more art of him again soon.
